Entering as Comrades (仲間に入れて, Nakama ni irete) is chapter 30 of the Beelzebub manga.

SummaryEdit

In the shower, Oga reflects on Lamia having told him to clean himself before finding Tōjō. Hearing a knock from outside the window, he wonders if it’s Lamia outside, recalling having slapped her bottom and causing her to scream and cry. Opening the window, he scolds who he thinks is Lamia outside the window. Seeing instead Shiroyama shocked, Oga still mistakes him for Lamia at first, having forgotten his face.

Later, Oga follows Shiroyama, whom explains he tried to keep his family asleep by not using the intercom. Oga still finds Shiroyama creepy for knowing his address and asks Shiroyama where he’s taking him and why. Shiroyama recalls Himekawa and Kanzaki joining in Tōjō’s conversation with Kaoru. Kaoru reminds Tōjō of their names, to which Tōjō bluntly recalls them. Kanzaki and Himekawa bring up the topic of having all their underlings defected to Tōjō. Kaoru explains that since Oga came and defeated the two, all the Ishiyama High students began to affiliate themselves with Tōjō, and that he and Tōjō aren’t responsible for this occurrence. Tōjō offers to settle the matter by fighting Kanzaki and Himekawa, whom both accept and run at him. Kaoru takes off his glasses and stands in front of Tōjō to fight the two, claiming they can’t even take on himself.

In the present, Himekawa and Kanzaki conclude their offer to lend Oga their strength to beat Tōjō. Kanzaki reminds him that they’re still his enemies, but they want to go after Tōjō first. Himekawa claims they want to line themselves up against a common enemy. Stunned, Oga refuses their offer. Ignoring Oga’s refusal, Kanzaki and Himekawa repeat themselves. Oga is shocked, recalling an allusion from Dragon Quest. Shiroyama repeats that they want to lend Oga their strength. Finally, Oga accepts their offer.

On the street, walking towards Ishiyama High with Kanzaki, Himekawa and Shiroyama, Oga questions why Tōjō is there, being summer vacation. Himekawa claims Tōjō just wanted to be there. The four encounter Shōji. Oga, Kanzaki and Himekawa decide to start with him before working their way up to Tōjō. Suddenly, a group of Ishiyama High students approach them, offering to take out Oga to become Tōjō’s subordinates and introducing themselves as the Akatsuki. More students appear around Oga and his temporary acquaintances and start to argue over who will take out Oga, eventually surrounding the four. Seeing the commotion, Shōji walks off, offering to fight Oga and his temporary acquaintances after they fight off all the students surrounding them. The new trio formed between Kanzaki, Himekawa and Oga, Shinkidan (神姫男, Shinkidan), prepare to fight off all the Ishiyama High students surrounding them.
