Hilda: Dear Great Demon Lord (ヒルダ 拝啓大魔王様, Hiruda haikei Daimaō-sama) is part B of episode 13 of the Beelzebub anime.

Baby Beel: The Assessment Test is part A of Episode 13.

The two-part episode was originally to be aired as episode 10 on March 13, 2011, but following the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, the anime had been skipped for two weeks because of the provocative nature of the series. This episode had been postponed to become episode 13, while the original episode 11 had been postponed to become episode 15. The two episodes that were to follow these two were aired on their regularly scheduled times. As a result, these two episodes were aired first and became episodes 10 and 11.

As Ishiyama High holds an assessment test for its studyphobic students, the Great Demon Lord also holds a test for Beelzebub, requiring him to earn points by beating up various things, or run the risk of both he and Oga facing remedial classes in the Demon World. With Beelzebub not showing much hope, Oga decides to try and dump Beelzebub on whoever scores highest on the test. When a rival school interrupts the test, Oga fights them off to allow the other students to keep on the test, earning enough points to avoid remedial lessons, later learning that the smartest student it actually Takayuki. Later, Hilda prepares a letter to the Great Demon Lord, writing reports on Oga, his family and the Tōhōshinki.

Next episode previewEdit

Kanzaki introduces himself and claims he realizes what he was lacking: a special move. Oga asks if he means something like shooting lasers out of his eyes. Furuichi claims this isn't humanly possible. Oga then asks if he means shooting yogurti out his nose, to which Furuichi burns himself from trying it. Meanwhile, Kanzaki promises that it'll only be a bit longer before everyone cowers in fear with his new special move. After Oga introduces the next episode, Furuichi mentions that his own special move is a "Lovey-Dovey-Dewey-Eyed Wink".
