Kaname Izuma (出馬 要, Izuma Kaname) is a third-year at Ishiyama Academy and a member of the Rokkesei. He is the leader of the Rokkesei, Miki's teacher, the master of the Izuma dojo and ex-student council president.
Izuma is the descendant of a Demon who escaped to the Human world. He was taken up by Ishiyama's headmaster upon losing his place in society by showing his powers in a previous school. As part-Demon, he is able to recognize Oga's Demonic powers.
Izuma is tall, bespectacled teenager of St. Ishiyama High School who often wears his school uniform. He has light-colored skin and brown hair neatly combed. His height is comparable to Hidetora's.
He is often shown to oscillate between a calm and controlled attitude and a positive thirst for death. He usually says that he is not angry even when he is angry at others. And even though Oga is a delinquent, ordered and told everything by his principal, Genma Isurugi, Izuma was ready to put his life on the line to protect him with Tojo's help.

Powers & AbilitiesEdit
Izuma is a lower class Demon, one who was born in the Human World. He has notable strength, even without using his demon powers. He is a master of the Izuma Eight Gods Style, which he also imparted to Miki. He wasn't able to fight on par with Tojo without using any demon powers but went on to give him an almost even match (due to Tojo's strength and prowess being slightly superior to his) after releasing his demonic power. Though, he was no match against demons of the Demon World and was instantly defeated by Graphel.
But after his defeat, Izuma trained hard to become stronger so that he can fight with demons. According to Saotome, like Tojo, he is rapidly catching up to Oga. Also it should be noted that while Izuma was easily overwhelmed by Graphel, Tojo was able to fight and even badly hurt Graphel (despite being exhausted and injured due to his prior fight with Izuma) to which the latter remarked that a slightly stronger human won't make any difference and later on acknowledged Tojo's strength wondered about his race when he was still standing despite taking more and stronger hits than Izuma had taken. Thus this only puts him, at most, on par with Tojo if not slightly below.
