While hanging around in the stairway to the rooftop, Nakata and the other members of the MK5 celebrate the fact that they have recently completed a special technique which they believe will help them gain recognition amongst their peers. Suddenly, Furuichi enters from the rooftop and takes on the MK5 and Shimokawa, defeating all of them with ease. Shocked, especially after hearing Furuichi's response as to why is so powerful, Nakata and the others beg for him to take them on as his disciples.[1]

Return to Ishiyama High School Arc[]

MK5 Buried In Concrete Again

The re-defeat of the entire MK5.

After months of reconstruction, Ishiyama High School is finally rebuilt, allowing all of the students to return back.[2]

However, upon the MK5's return to the high school, they are all defeated and cleanly buried into the concrete wall that surrounds the campus, which Oga and Furuichi discover sometime after.[3]

  • Each member of the MK5 is named after a member of Japanese rock and roll band and comedy group The Drifters. Nakata is named after the rhythm guitarist Kōji Nakamoto.
