This episode was originally to be aired as episode 11 on March 20, 2011, but following the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, the anime had been skipped for two weeks because of the provocative nature of the series. This episode had been postponed to become episode 15, while the original episode 10 had been postponed to become episode 13. The two episodes that were to follow these two were aired on their regularly scheduled times. As a result, these two episodes were aired first and became episodes 10 and 11. The pre-opening sequence for this episode had been modified to remove scenes suggesting the disaster.
Furuichi tells Oga about the final member of the Tōhōshinki, Hidetora Tōjō, mainly to get him interested about ditching Beelzebub so Alaindelon will leave him alone. Wanting Oga to get beaten, Himekawa informs them that Tōjō works at the beach. Oga and Furuichi go there the next day and get mistaken as part-timers for a yakisoba stand, later finding that Tōjō had actually been fired the previous night for getting in a scuffle with the owner's customers. As he keeps missing him, Oga asks Aoi to pass on a letter of challenge to Tōjō, which the latter mistakes again as a confession of love from Oga. Wanting to avoid potential conflict between the two, Aoi tires to rip it up but Tōjō's henchmen find it before she was able to do so. Oga gets held up to their meeting, arriving only finding a pile of beat up gang members, which Tōjō beat all by himself. Despite Aoi's warnings, Oga looks forward to finally meeting Tōjō.
Next episode previewEdit
Furuichi enthusiastically greets the viewers as summer vacation is coming. Excited, he introduces them to next week's adventure love story on a tropical island. Oga and Beelzebub's cheer kills his excitement as he realizes he is actually being sent to a public pool instead and wonders why. After Oga introduces the next episode, Furuichi tries to regain hope with the thought of seeing Hilda and Queen Kunieda in a swimsuit and maybe having wardrobe malfunctions. Oga then suggests he look at Beelzebub, to which Furuichi is turned off at Beelzebub already exposing himself.
Characters in order of appearanceEdit
- When Oga and the others are arriving at the beach house, the song Answer is playing; it is the same song as the first ending theme for the Beelzebub anime. Afterwards, the song Dadada is then shown playing.
